I just read online that this year’s Annual Harvest Craft Fair will be taking place on Saturday October 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the 108th installment of this annual fair is presented by The First Parish of Sudbury and features a variety of crafts made by more than 65 local-area artisans and craftsmen. The fair will be held at The First Parish of Sudbury Unitarian Universalist Church and will feature a huge variety of handcrafted aromatic items, woven baskets, dolls, quilts, jewelry, clothes and accessories as well as one-of-a-kind items crafted from wood, blown glass and fibers.
If you have never been to Sudbury’s Annual Harvest Craft Fair, I urge you to make plans to attend this year. This fair is well-renowned throughout most of north New Jersey for its high quality, artisanal items. What makes the quality of the crafts for sale at this fair unique is that only craftsman can display and sell their own homemade products, resellers are not allowed to participate in this fair. There will be a scrumptious luncheon of homemade baked goods, jams and jellies made by parishioners.
The cost of admission is $3 and children under 12 get in for free. This is a great way for the whole family to spend the afternoon perusing some truly unique crafts, meeting some of the local craftsmen in the area and maybe even buy a few items that you have always wanted. There will be ample free parking.
